| Is it a bad sign if you're only six days into highschool and already you're wishing you could go back to the good ol' days?
I think it is.
Don't get me wrong, Chapel Hill rocks out loud, as far as the school goes. My teachers are of the kick-ass variety (altho, ironically enough, French is boring the poo out of me), and just the school in general is really fun and fast-paced and bon-diggety. But I cannot tell you how much I miss all of my friends at East. I mean, lunch is my total least favorite class here. Does that tell you something? It's just Rachel, me, Katy, Megan, Lauren Norton (...), Brittany, and Amber occasionally when she doesn't have someone better to hang around with. It's cool and all, but not as fun, and much quieter. It is, to be frank, boring as hell. So to allll of my good buddies at East, I miss you so much, and life has definitely lost a bunch of its cool factor without you there making me smile.
Grrr. So the long-and-short of it is that I'm bored witless. There aren't even any really hot guys in any of my classes, so that I could at least have fun totally drooling and acting stupid. Seriously, today at lunch people were like attacking Lance with beams of flirtation. Okay, actually not, and to be fair Lance is of course adorable, but... I don't know. It's just that it seems like nowadays, life isn't quite so full of laughter as it was. To all of you lucky hoes who got to go to highschool with all of your buddies, glory in the luck-osity of life, 'cuz some of us are very jealous.
*sigh* Ah, well. Could be worse... at least dance is going groovy. Megan, Katie and me, the three amigas. Woop. Anyway, au revoir.
| Heeeeeey! I'm writing again! Didja miss me? Gosh, what a stupid question, of course you did. Oh, guess what? My dad, the true gangster that he is (not, but oh well) brought home a laptop that he's letting us keep, as apparently his job gives him like three. Which, by the way, how weird is that? I think he's a spy. I bet he works with Amber's mom.
So anyway, today I am peeing in my pants with excitement, because..... HARRY POTTER IS COMING OUT FINALLY! Yesssssss. Whoop-de-freakin'-doooooo, baby! I am dying of excitement. You know those geeks who meet at Barnes and Noble and dance in fits of geekosity when it finally comes out (unless you're one of them, in which case they're dancing in coolosity)? Well, I am going to be a card-carrying member today! Shu-weet! Whew. I cannot freaking wait. Seriously. I am shaking just thinking about it. In fact, I think I need to take a deep, calming breath.
Whew. Okay, I'm better.
Anyway, what else... oh, before my madre and I bring on the geekosity, we're going to a play to watch my adorable little sister dearest act. She will probably ace it, baby--she's the queen of the queen of drama queens twenty-fo'-seven. So, yeah. That'll be cool. Oh, and another thing, I'm performing next Thursday and Friday at 7:30 in a play at McDougal, so chick it out if ya can, maties, cuz it is sure to be shmokin. I will be a French girl (which barely constitutes as acting, as I'm really French on the inside) who is soft and polite on the outside but really a very tough cookie on the inside, and the play is called The Autumn Garden. Which, if you ask me, is a bit suspicious considering how we do not go in a garden at all in the course of the play and it takes place during the summer. Ahem. Anyway. Come see it, it's going to be spankin'.
So, yes. That's me. Also, I have a new screenname... CUinParis384. Catch ya later, foos. Tons of amour, Paigey-poo
| Hey, folks! I know, it's been forever and a half since I've written, and I can't even try to say what's happened since the end of April, except, guess what? I passed eighth grade! I'm going to highschool! Bring it on, bitches!
Graduation was beyond wild. All of us girls looked fantabulous, and all of the boys looked seriously very hot. And then Franklin Street was really hawt. And then Taylor's hizzouse. We went to John's house, where he and Jessy were really boring, and then he later tried to hit us with a bottle cap gun. Then we watched a really, really bad scary movie-- Alyssa is such a fun person to have in the room when you're watching a scary movie. And then Alyssa read scary stories in the dark by the light of Kelly's new iPod (they were all superly gay, but that's beside the point). And then we stayed up until the wee hours of the morning talking and laughing. Seriouisly, it was way too fresh.
Oh, I know something exciting to tell you. I went to Camellia's birthday party the other day. At first, I thought it would be kind of a snooze-fest, as I seriously did not know like ANYONE there, except for Laurie and, duh, Camellia. But it ended up being really, really fun, because I discovered the incdredibly fun person that is Leslie. Oh my god, she is so incredibly funny. Disturbingly perverted at times, definitely, but SOOOO funny. Laurie, Leslie and I stayed up until forever saying so much crazy stuff, for instance, "if pudding weren't pudding, it would be sex." Yeah. I think by the end we were all a little punch drunk by the end of it. It was hilarious. I ended up missing Megan and Michelle's party, however, because my mother was being an evil bitch monster of death. Grrr.
Well, you know the evil bitch monster of death that I mentioned ? She's demanding that I give back the laptop I kind of hijacked back, so, peace out homies. Treasure this moment, because it's probably going to be another forever and a half before I write again. If you're bored, call me and plan something, for real! I am so willing to see a movie, for instance! I'll be at a jazz intensive from 11 to 2 next week, but other than that I am so ready to chill! Toodles, lovers and friends.... je vous adore toujours!

| Howdy, y'all. Whew, it has been an exhausting week. Today I went to the highschool, and it was cool (there were like fifty zillion hot eighth graders visiting from McDougal). I'm torn like whoa on whether I want to go to highschool or not. For some reason, after the tour it did not look like a bunch of fun, to be honest. It's a maze. It's like the people built it to intentionally get you lost. And also, did I mention I am really scared that I'm going to bomb like a... bomber in highschool and end up working at Mickey D's? Yikes. But, on the other hand, I'm really psyched. So many classes, so many new people to make friends with, so many clubs to join... a totally blank slate to start over with. But I'm going to be so, so, so sad on the last day of school, because there are so many people that I love who are going to East, and saying goodbye is going to be like... chopping my heart up into teensy pieces. | | |
| Gawrsh. It's been twenty whole days since I've written last. I think that says something about how reliable I am, don't you?
Hmmm. How was today? Actually, much cooler than I thought it would be. We didn't actually have many classes-- we did the centers, which I thought was going to be lamey lame lamers, but it wasn't so bad. I was also certain it was going to be bad because I thought that there weren't any people in there that I was tight with, but actually there was Megan W. and Juliana, and I discovered how much fun they were. Seriously, they are some funny folks. So, not having anyone in there that I am with every other second of my life was a blessing in disguise, or else I would not have discovered how cool Juliana and Megan are. And also, Megan Bass was in there as well, but I only saw her for like half of the last block. And also, she was so copying me, and that always kind of irritates me. That's also something I like about Megan and Juliana-- both of them totally think for themselves, which is really refreshing to be around.
Oh, and on the dance front... ooh, wait, before I say that, I have an important announcement to make. Dude, I'm clearing my throat as I type it, now you KNOW I'm serious. My dance recitals are coming up! How gangster is that! It's on May 6th and 7th, which I'm pretty sure is next Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday at 6, I'm doing my ballet one, and I think I'm like... a waterfall, or something. And then on Sunday at 1, I'm a gangster, and I'm doing it to a song from You Got Served! It's really, um, interesting, because my teacher is really preppy, and the gangster thing is really sort of not working. But I'm working it anyway, so come see it, AND if you come you'll get to see the level right below advanced do something from Chicago that is HOOOOT. So come see it, it's at East next Sunday at 1!!! And, if you're really bored on Saturday at 6, catch me doing ballet. I'm better in the ballet one, but it will probably bore you to death, so I suggest the jazz one!
But anyway... wasn't I going to say something before I interrupted myself? Ach. I hate that. I'm sure I'll remember it like the second after I hit the submit button. Ah, well. Tomorrow I'm going to Beaufort! Yay! In the wrong group ( ), but I'm sure I'll have fun anywho. Laurie, Rachel, and me... we're bound to have a blast.
